We are 20something year old independent filmmakers hailing from New York City. We've embarked on a documentary in the fall of 2008 to enlighten and shine a positive light on the crazy, devoted, entertaining and fun world of fangirls.
From New Kids on the Block to Backstreet Boys, from Hanson to Jonas Brothers, female fans are a huge part of these bands' existence and ultimate success, and in the midst of their shrieks and squeals, they have turned their fandom into a true phenomenon.
We will be traveling around the tri-state area (and hopefully venture off into other parts of the country) to sit down with fans and bands from all walks of the pop-idol world to talk about their stories and experiences.

We here at FANumentary have gotten an unbelievable response from fans out there that want to be interviewed for our film. We have met people from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massechusetts, Florida and more. But it's still not enough.
